Hooray! The Big Sky Library finally has a blog. I'm anxious to see what both staff and students are reading.
ReplyDeleteCurrently, I'm reading The Omnivore's Dilemma by Pollan. I am fascinated about the sustainable farm he visited in Virginia and wrote about. The complexity of where our food actually comes from is interesting.
Drive:The Surprising Truth about What Motivates Us by Daniel Pink is a book I would recommend to educators to read. Some of the what many of us might think motivates our students may be surprised after reading what Pink has to say.
ReplyDeleteLooking for a good read, read 'Big Sur' by Jack Kerouac.
