I'm almost done reading 'The House on Mango Street' by Cisneros. This is a delightful read told in vignette style. I'm really enjoying this book, and I think I'll be reading 'Sky: A true story of resistance during World War II' by Ippisch next.
Love a good story about dogs? I recommend The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. You'll experience a range of emotions and of course you'll have to have tissues handy but what a great read. I couldn't turn the lights off until I finished it.

ReplyDeleteJust finished 61 Hours by Child. This was a intense thriller with a surprise ending. I'm thinking there must be a sequel coming.

ReplyDeleteAnother emotional book, Deadline by Chris Crutcher. I wonder if a high school Senior could really pull off hiding a terminal illness from everyone.
